Description

Serratiopeptidase & Diclofenac Potassium Tablets – Serraopeptidase + Diclofenac belongs to the group of drugs called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). The medicine contains fixed amounts of diclofenac and serratiopeptidase. There are two kinds of pain: Acute (temporary) and Chronic (lifelong). Acute pain appears temporarily for a short duration, caused by damage to the tissues of the muscle, bone, or organs. While chronic pain stays lifelong occured due to nerve damage, osteoarthritis, and dental pain due to damage of the tooth nerve, infection, decay, extraction, or injury.

Working of Serratiopeptidase & Diclofenac Potassium Tablets

Diclofenac+serratiopeptidase helps to reduce pain and inflammation caused due to bone or soft tissue injury, resolution of postoperative inflammation, oedema (swollen tissue with fluid) and pain. Diclofenac works by stopping the action of a chemical messenger known as cyclo-oxygenase (COX), which contributes to the pain and swelling at the injured or damaged tissue. Serratiopeptidase is a proteolytic enzyme which leads to the breakdown of insoluble protein (fibrin), a by-product of blood clots, into smaller units. Also, this results in the thinning of the fluids in the body due to injury, thus making fluid drainage smoother in the inflamed tissue.

Precautions of Serratiopeptidase & Diclofenac Potassium Tablets

It is suggested not to take this medicine on your own. Do not consume the medicine if you are allergic to painkillers. Also, it should not be given to children. Increased dosage of the medicine may lead to a heart attack, “myocardial infarction”. So, it is advised not to consume an overdose of the medicine.

When you consume this medicine, it may cause dizziness and sleepiness. It is recommended not to consume alcohol or drive while taking this medicine. In case of a long treatment, your healthcare supervisor may monitor your kidney, heart, liver functions and components of blood.
