  • Adults typically should begin taking 5mg medication three times a day, half tablet each time, 6 to 8 hours apart.
  • Take baclofen tablets with or shortly after meals.
  • You may need to continue taking baclofen for several weeks to prevent muscle spasms from occurring.
  • If you miss your medicine, take it whenever you remember. If your next dose is due and you have missed one, skip the missed dose and take the next dose as usual.
  • Do not take two doses at once. Do not take extra medicine if you have forgotten your medicine and it is time for your dose.
